Happy to mind someone else’s business

It’s not for everyone, but for some its a way of life. It’s way of life that my husband and I are just beginning. We’ve been dabbling in the Sydney renting
market for the last 2 years now and we’re fed up, its time to buy! But with house prices as they are and rent increases when we were introduced to this new idea by some friends it seemed like a world of opportunity opened up for us.
It turns out that house sitting is like reverting back to a system of trade, where the homeowners gain security of their home, a full time pet carer free of charge and someone to clean the pool or mow the lawns, meanwhile the house sitter gets to live rent free, try new areas and usually gets to have a furry companion for a while!
We have listings on:

And we’ve been contacted quite a number of times in just one week, so so far it looks good! Anyway, in light of our new lifestyle choice I’ve tracked down some articles that tell you whats what in the ‘house sitting market’. Enjoy!
